Blarney Castle & Gardens, County Cork
Coming up on 600 years old, the partly ruined medieval fortress at Blarney is one of Ireland’s most visited castles. Built by the MacCarthy dynasty, it’s also the home of the Blarney Stone which has the traditional power of conferring eloquence on all who kiss it. The stone is set in the wall below the battlements, and to kiss it one has to lean backwards (grasping an iron railing) from the parapet walk.

Waterpalace
A wonderful opportunity for a cultural excursion in the east of Bali, more precisely in Amlapura, offers the water palace of Karangasem. In addition to four palaces, so-called Puris, the oldest water palace of Karangasem, about two kilometers from Amlapura, is one of the most famous sights in this region. Swimsuits should be brought along, as the springs located there are suitable for a small cooling and also for the physical well-being is provided with good restaurants in the area.

Manila Cathedral

The famous European-style basilica was originally a small, 16th-century parish church before rising from the ashes. Do not miss to notice the stone statues of saints and art and artistic bronze carvings embellishing the main facade.
