Caticlan is a small town with an airport that serves the island of Boracay, one of the Philippines' top tourist destinations. The Boracay International Funboard Cup. This windsurfing tournament has been taking place since 1989 and represents one leg of the South East Asia Funboard Cup. It takes place in the sea off Bulabog on Boracay Island's eastern side.
The International Beach Volleyball Tournament. During the first or second weekends in May, Boracay hosts the International Beach Volleyball Tournament, which is attended by around 75 teams from numerous universities and colleges from all around the Philippines.
