Dragon Boat Race. Visit in June when the Dragon Boat Race Festival is hosted. The event features brightly decorated dragon boats racing along the Longgang River and culminates in a feast and firework display.
Shenzhen Anime Festival. The Anime Festival is hosted in July and spans five days. Activities include street dancing contests, costumed role play, challenge competitions, Chinese art, workshops, lectures and live musical performances.
Grand Theatre Art Festival. Hosted in September, the Grand Theatre Art Festival is the most famous and visited arts festival in China. Events include traditional Chinese operas, drama, dance and song.
