Motorworld (December)

Motorworld is a welcoming, interactive automotive festival that encourages everybody to come and test drive a wide range of cars and motorbikes from 35 different brands. There are some fantastic demonstrations scheduled including Tesla electric and Autopilot Technology, as well as BMW’s Automatic Stability Control. You can also take part in the Pirelli Pit Stop Challenge or take your kids to the BMW kid’s bike ‘license’ exams and Slot Shop Slot Car Racing.

AACTA Awards (December)

The AACTA Awards honour screen excellence from Australian film and television stars.. Here you can catch a glimpse of your favourite Aussie movie and TV stars, or perhaps even get their autograph.

BOWL-A-RAMA (February)

Join the city's welcomes to skateboarding’s finest competitors. This event attracts both established skating stars and the current selection of professional skaters from across the globe to fight for or defend their titles. This is the largest skate event in Australasia and remains a one-of-a-kind professional bowl skating event around the world.

Australia Day (January)

Every year Australians unite to celebrate their national day, commemorating the anniversary of the day the First Fleet arrived in Australia from Great Britain. This incredible event reflects on the country’s diverse and rich history, achievements, and looks forward to a bright future. Sydney’s blue waters and picturesque architecture makes the ideal venue for events including street parades, fireworks and boat tours.
