Mount Batulao is the most visited trail in all of the Philippines and is also the perfect hike for beginners. The 4-hour route gives hikers a moderate challenge with rolling slopes filled with wonderful greenery before reaching the summit. At the top, you will witness a spectacular view of the town and mountains. Be sure to leave as early as you possibly can because you’ll want to soak every minute of it.
Sapa - Vietnam
Tucked away from the Mountains of Lao Cai, Sapa is the perfect way to escape the heat of Vietnam. This scenic hiking trip is a trek best done overnight. During the hike, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture and interact with small local villages. All while being surrounded by endless rice patties and towering mountains. The beauty of Vietnam lies not only within its culture but also within nature, and Sapa is no exception.
Taman Negara - Malaysia
In the park of Taman Negara in Malaysia, one of the most popular trails is Bukit Teresek. Not only is it filled with various scenic routes but other adventurous activities like cruising boats or walking across thrilling canopies. The hike itself is about a 45-minute trial that takes you through the rainforest. Once you reach the top, there is a panoramic view of the area where you can truly see all the luscious greenery and take in all the fresh air.
Umphang - Thailand
Although popular amongst Thai locals, Umphang is a hidden gem that many tourists do not know about in Thailand. It is located in a very remote area between the cities of Chiang Mai and Bangkok that is surrounded by the wonderful wilderness of Umphang. To fully appreciate and immersion yourself into the Umphang valley, this hike is best done on a two-night excursion where you will be able to see the famous Thi Lo Su waterfalls and the Karen village.
Komodo National Park - Indonesia
Away from jungles and trees, Komodo National Park is on an island surrounded by beautiful blue waters, pink sand, and views of Indonesia. The hike up the two main peaks takes about 2 to 3 hours to go up but when you get there it is a marvelous view. This is the ideal spot to capture your perfect Instagram photo!
