This beautiful piece of architecture can be found in Iran, called Naqsh-e Jahan Square, also known as Meidan Emam. In every direction you will see a beautiful building, for example the mosque Masjed-e Shah. Colourful and huge, so it can't be missed!
Plaza de Mayo - Buenos Aires
This city square can be found in the District of Montserrat in Buenos Aires. In the past a lot of things happened on the Plaza de Mayo: from bombing to rebellion. This city square has a rich history. Now it is very busy every day and you can visit the best museums in the city.
Tiananmen Square - Beijing
You most likely know the Tiananmen Square of Beijing from the man who stood in front of the tanks of the Chinese army. This city square is more than 40 hectares(!) and also known for the mausoleum of Emperor Mao and the Gate of Heavenly Peace. Beautiful and full of history!
Plaza de Armas - Cusco
The city square of Cusco is the beautiful Plaza de Armas. It's full of Spanish, colonial buildings and beautiful churches. Plan your trip if an event takes place, it will be buzzing with lots of activities. Although there is always something to do at Plaza de Armas!
