1. Bunkers del Carmel (Barcelona, Spain)
Located at the top of a hill, Bunkers del Carmel were built during the Spanish Civil War, and today they have become one of the most popular viewpoints in Barcelona since they offer the most amazing view of the city. From the Bunkers you can see the most famous landmarks of the city such as La Sagrada Familia, Agbar Tower, W Hotel, the sea and the unique distribution of Barcelona’s streets. To get there, you can either take a bus or he metro to the neighbourhood, and then walk to the exact spot where they are located. Bunkers are the perfect place to spend the afternoon having a picnic or some drinks with friends, and see the most beautiful sunsets!

Even though the list of things to do and visit in London never ends, make sure you save some time to visit Primrose Hill to get a panoramic view of the city’s skyline! You can easily walk there from Regent’s Park, Abbey Road or Camden Town, and spend a lovely time sitting on the grass while feeling London at your feet. Even though this place is well known for the locals that tend to always go there on New Year’s Eve and Australian Day to get the best views of the breathtaking fireworks, it is yet not usually included in many tourist guides of the city.
6. Griffith Observatory (Los Angeles, USA)
Are you looking for a spot to see the never ending city of Los Angeles? From Griffith Observatory, located within Griffith Park, you will be able to get an amazing view of the southeast part of Downtown LA, the Pacific Ocean on the southwest and the view of the famous Hollywood sign. The entrance point to the park is through Los Feliz Boulevard, and there’s a free parking lot next to the observatory. You can also get there by public transport, or if you are feeling sporty, there are many different hike routes you can take!

Piazzale Michelangelo offers a breathtaking view of Florence and its art, architecture and history. From there you can see the most important city landmarks, like the Brunelleschi Dome, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Vecchio, the bell tower of Badia Fiorentina, and much more! There are different buses that can take you there from the center of the city, and also many historic walking routes. Make sure you don’t forget to go!
