Check-in

After having successfully booked a flight ticket, passengers are required to report with valid proof of identification at the departure hall of the airport. After which they will receive a boarding pass to confirm their seating place. Passengers can also check-in by using the self-service equipment, the China Southern website and via sms on mobile phones.

Cabin Baggage

A passenger in the first class is allowed two pieces of Cabin Baggage . A passenger in business class or economy class is only allowed one piece of Cabin Baggage . The measurements for both are not allowed to exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm (L x W x H). The total weight is not allowed to be more than 5 kilos.

Checked baggage

The costs for baggage are different per destination. Passengers traveling Economy class are allowed two pieces of baggage. Each of which is no more than 23 kgs. For excess baggage you will have to pay extra.

In-flight Service

Adults and children that have bought electronical flight tickets via China Southern Airlines can reserve a seat. For babies this does not apply. You are able to reserve a seat from the moment at which the flight ticket is bought until 14:00 PM on the day before the day on which the flight will take place.
