Flight Experience with Bonza

All 186 seats aboard Bonza's brand-new Boeing 737-8 MAX are in the economy class. When purchasing pre-selected tickets, you have 4 options to choose from, ranging from regular seats you may pre-select to guarantee you're seated with your friends to seats with more leg space.

• Stretch Plus: The largest seats in the cabin, located in row 1 and the emergency exit rows 14 and 15, provide nearly 20 cm more space to spread out than our Prime and Pick seats.
• Stretch: Compared to our Prime and Pick seats, which are placed in rows 2-4, you will have an additional 10 cm of space for your legs.
• Prime: Choose your preferred seat up the pointy end with regular 73 cm seat (placed in rows 5 to 13).
• Pick: Do you desire a window seat? Or do you favour an aisle? Need a seat with friends? Then choose our regular 73 cm seat (found in rows 16 to 31).

Bonza Check-in

Airport check-in and bag drop opens 90 minutes before to departure and closes 40 minutes before your flight is scheduled to depart if you are carrying luggage or have not checked in using the Fly Bonza app. It is advised to be at the airport at least 90 mintues prior your flight.

Baggage Information 💼

Allowed Luggage onboard on Bonza

Passengers will be allowed only 1 piece of cabin baggage. In addition, passengers are allowed to carry a small handbag or a backpack. The cabin baggage isn't supposed to exceed the maximum dimensions below:

Allowed Luggage per checked baggage on Bonza

Checked bags are not permitted for customers who have booked the "Flight only" rate. You may upgrade your reservation to a "Flight + Bag + Seat" package if you'd like to bring checked luggage. The checked baggage isn't supposed to exceed following dimensions below:

There are 4 checked baggage weight options: 15 kg (33 lbs), 23 kg (50 lbs), 28 kg (61 lbs) and 32 kg (70 lbs).

➡️ Where is Bonza located?

• The Head Office is based on the Sunshine Coast.

➡️ Where does Bonza fly out from?

• Bonza flies out from two airports in Australia: Melbourne Airport (MEL) - Terminal Four (T4) and Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY).

➡️ What is the maximum number of luggage I can take with me?

• The maximum number of luggage permitted per person is 2. Hand luggage (1) and personal item (1).

➡️ What fleet does Bonza have?

• Currently Bonza is using new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft with a total number of 5 fleets, being able to fit 186 passengers.

➡️ How can an unaccompanied minor fly with Bonza?

• It's not possible to have unaccompanied minors on Bonza board. Passengers from 12 years old are considered being able to fly independently.

➡️ Can I fly with my pet?

• No, at the moment you may not take your pet with you either onboard or in the cargo hold. The only exception is the assistance dogs onboard but in this case it has to be approved beforehand with the airline in advance.

➡️ Is the food included?

• No, it is not included. However, you can purchase some. There are many options of food and beverages available at Bonza, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan alternatives. Once you're onboard, you may browse the all-Australian menu by downloading the Fly Bonza app. Be aware that certain goods may sell out and that the airline cannot promise that every item will be available on every flight.

• Yes, there is. In addition, Bonza have USB charge points at every seat, allowing to keep your devices powered and enjoy on-board entertainment. With its in-flight app, Bonza offers a variety of entertainment options, including more than 30 different podcasts from LiSTNR and lessons from Creative Live that will keep you busy in the air.
